Methodology

Every number you see here — and everywhere else on fedautomate — comes straight from official federal contracting records, reconciled daily. We won’t show you a figure we can’t verify against that source.

Global Opportunity Score

Before you ever see a solicitation, it passes through a platform-wide screen: does it fall within served NAICS/PSC codes, does it leave enough time to respond, does it clear a minimum quality bar. That screen runs the same way for every account — nothing here is tailored to any one client yet.

Client Fit Score

Once a solicitation clears that first screen, we compare it against your client’s actual profile — certifications, past performance, capacity, geography — and return a numeric fit score with a plain-English explanation. You’ll never get a generated proposal or capability statement here, only a score and the reasoning behind it. Nothing reaches a client’s pipeline until it crosses the threshold you set for them.

What you won’t see here

Our public NAICS and agency pages only show what we can compute directly from live federal contracting data: open counts, top buying agencies, notice types, upcoming deadlines. We won’t guess at a “next recompete window” or any other forward-looking figure — that would take historical award data we don’t have. If we can’t back a number up, we’d rather leave it off the page than show you something wrong.
